Jacksonville re-signed Brown to a three-year, $33 million contract Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Brown, a 2022 seventh-round pick, emerged as a capable starter at slot corner for the Jaguars in 2024 and now re-signs with the team for the foreseeable future. While Brown's unreliable tackle totals and lack of demonstrable big-play ability keep him off the IDP radar in most fantasy formats, he's entrenched as a key part of Jacksonville's secondary for the 2026 season and beyond.

Brown recorded 51 tackles (43 solo) and 12 pass defenses (two interceptions) across 15 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025. Brown led the Jaguars with 12 pass defenses and played a key role in the secondary as a slot corner, but he saw his tackling numbers decline from 2024, when he registered 75 stops (55 solo) across 17 regular-season contests. The 2022 seventh-rounder will be entering the fourth year of his rookie contract and is eligible for an extension.

Brown recorded five tackles (four solo) and one interception in the Jaguars' win over the Raiders on Sunday. With Tyson Campbell traded to Cleveland and Travis Hunter (knee) injured, Brown has become more of an every-down cornerback for the Jaguars, logging at least 84 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the last three contests after playing a total of 52 defensive snaps across the first five weeks of the season. Brown has posted 16 tackles (14 solo) and four pass breakups, including the one interception, across six appearances.
