New England Patriots 2025-Present (1 season)

TreVeyon Henderson: Breaking News

Mixes in with Stevenson

Henderson rushed the ball six times for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. He added three receptions on three targets for 26 yards. Henderson's overall struggles to rush efficiently in the postseason continued in the Super Bowl, though the New England offense was stalled for much of the game. Henderson's overall production was also inflated by a 24-yard catch and run on the game's final plays. However, he had a fairly even split with Rhamondre Stevenson in terms of touches, and he did manage long runs of nine and seven yards. Henderson is likely to begin the 2026 season on the smaller end of a backfield split in New England, though he showcased his ability to produce plenty on limited touches throughout this rookie season thanks to his big-play ability -- something that is likely to continue in his sophomore campaign.

Non-factor against Denver

Henderson rushed the ball three times for five yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. Rhamondre Stevenson racked up 25 touches, leaving Henderson as an afterthought in Sunday's win. Henderson's longest rush of the day went for four yards, though his usage never allowed him to settle into the game. He had recorded 10 and 13 touches in New England's first two playoff games, so it's unclear why he didn't see much opportunity in the AFC Championship Game.

Quiet again in Sunday's win

Henderson carried the ball 12 times for 25 yards and caught one of two targets for minus-2 yards in the Patriots' 28-16 win over the Texans in the divisional round. The rookie running back's longest gain went for only six yards, and he once again took a back seat to Rhamondre Stevenson, who led New England with 70 rushing yards. Henderson hasn't made much of an impact so far in the playoffs, putting together just 59 total scrimmage yards through the Patriots' first two games, but he'll get another chance to produce a big play or two next weekend in the AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.
