Douglas caught 31 of 46 targets for 447 yards and three touchdowns while logging seven carries for 21 yards over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season. Douglas garnered only 288 total offensive snaps, which was 186 fewer than his previous low (474) from his rookie campaign in 2023. As a result of the smaller workload, the wide receiver recorded the fewest receptions and receiving yards of his three-year career with New England. With Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins and 2025 third-rounder Kyle Williams all under contract at wide receiver for next season, Douglas will enter 2026 on an expiring deal with limited upside.

Douglas caught both of his targets for 36 yards and a TD in Sunday's 28-16 divisional-round win over the Texans. Though Douglas finished fifth among New England WRs with 17 snaps on offense, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, he still managed to make a mark with a 28-yard score to give his team a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. As Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos approaches, Douglas continues to carry modest fantasy upside at best given that he hasn't seen more than three targets in a game since Week 9.

Douglas recorded a 33 percent snap share in the contest, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, and once again saw a modest target share in an offense that tends to spread the ball around. The slot man carries modest fantasy upside as the Patriots divisional-round game against either the Steelers or Texans this coming weekend approaches.
