Jalen Nailor Latest News
Puts forth career year

Nailor secured 28 of 42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns across 17 regular-season appearances with the Vikings in 2024. He also rushed three times for minus-four yards and lost one fumble. Nailor also secured three of five targets for 33 yards during Minnesota's wild-card round loss to the Rams. The 2022 sixth-round pick set new career-high marks across the board in his third season with the Vikings, stepping up as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. He's now heading into the final year of his rookie deal with Minnesota.
Productive in loss to Detroit

Nailor secured three of four targets for 53 yards during Sunday's 31-9 loss at Detroit. Nailor stepped up his production during Minnesota's final two regular-season games, a span in which he combined for an 8-134-1 receiving line on nine targets. The 2022 sixth-round pick also had a hot start to the season, but from Week 8 to Week 16 he totaled just 67 yards on offense, albeit with two scores. Across 17 regular-season games, Nailor tallied 28 catches for 414 yards and six touchdowns on 42 targets. Nailor will work to remain productive behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison during Monday's road wild-card matchup against the Rams.
Scores touchdown against Packers

Nailor caught all five of his targets for 81 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-25 win over the Packers. Nailor's catch and yardage totals were both season highs. Despite having his best statistical game of the season, Nailor remains difficult to trust for fantasy purposes after earning no more than three targets in any of his eight prior appearances before Sunday.
Continued small role in offense

Nailor had one reception for five yards on two targets in Sunday's win at Seattle. Nailor continues to get plenty of action as the third receiver (playing on 35 of the offense's 66 snaps) but few targets. He has just nine targets and four receptions in his last six games.
One reception in win

Nailor had one reception for five yards in Monday's win over Chicago. Nailor had his first reception in two games as he's a distant fourth option in the passing game. He's still getting plenty of playing time as the third receiver, however, as he played on 41 of the offense's 77 snaps. He has just five receptions in his last seven games.
Little activity in win

Nailor did not have a target or carry in Sunday's win over Atlanta. Nailor played on 24 of the offense's 60 snaps and went out on 20 routes, but his role continues to shrink after the return of T.J. Hockenson from a knee injury. He has just nine targets and four receptions the last six games despite being the team's primary No. 3 receiver.
Just one reception in win

Nailor had one reception for 18 yards on two targets in Sunday's win over Arizona. Nailor has had a reduced role since the return of T.J. Hockenson from a knee injury. In the last five games since Hockenson returned, Nailor has just nine targets and four receptions.
Catches another touchdown Sunday

Nailor caught one of his two targets for five yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 30-27 overtime win at Chicago. Nailor only played 25 offensive snaps in Week 12, but he came up with his fifth touchdown reception of the season to put the Vikings up 14-7 in the second quarter. He still lagged in targets (2) behind Jordan Addison (9) and Justin Jefferson (5), and he will continue to be dependent upon touchdowns for fantasy production as long as those two remain available.
Two drops Sunday

Nailor did not have a catch on two targets in Sunday's win at Tennessee. He had two drops, according to Pro Football Focus, including a difficult, but catchable, pass attempt in the end zone. Nailor worked as the third receiver as he played on 32 of the offense's 73 snaps. However, his drops could allow Trent Sherfield and Brandon Powell to get more time in three-receiver sets.
