Let go by Jacksonville

The Jaguars waived Jackson on Monday. Jackson spent the 2025 season on the Jaguars' practice squad but was never elevated for a game. The running back signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January but will not be on the roster for training camp as things currently stand. If the 24-year-old clears waivers, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team.

Returning to Jacksonville

The Jaguars signed Jackson to a reserve/future contract Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Jackson spent the entirety of the 2025 season on Jacksonville's practice squad but was never elevated for a game. The 24-year-old will look to earn a spot on the team's final roster and make his regular-season debut during the upcoming campaign.

Back in Duval on practice squad

The Jaguars signed Jackson to the practice squad Wednesday. Jackson was unable to beat out rookie seventh-rounder LeQuint Allen for the RB4 spot on the Jags' 53-man roster, but the former will stay in Jacksonville on the team's practice squad. Jackson finished the preseason with 13 carries for 56 yards while adding two catches (on as many targets) for 13 yards.
