Prather was selected in the seventh round of this year's NFL Draft by the Bills but battled a hamstring injury for most of training camp and the preseason and was eventually cut ahead of Week 1. The Bills waived Prather (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Prather was cut with an injury designation last week and reverted to the Bills' injured-reserve list once he cleared waivers. He's now free to sign elsewhere after playing 10 offensive snaps during the preseason after Buffalo used a seventh-round pick on Prather back in April.
Prather (undisclosed) went unclaimed on waivers and reverted to injured reserve, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Prather missed a large portion of training camp due to a hamstring issue and was waived just one day after returning to practice. He'll need to agree to be waived with an injury settlement in order to have a chance to suit up in 2025.
