Career History

Baltimore Ravens 2025-Present (1 season)

Malaki Starks: Breaking News

Impressive rookie season

Starks tallied 84 total tackles (49 solo) and four passes defensed, including two interceptions, over 17 regular-season games in 2025. Starks, a 2025 first-round pick from Georgia, started 15 of the 17 games he appeared in this season, logging a whopping 1,060 defensive snaps. He finished his rookie campaign with the third-most interceptions and the fourth-most total tackles on the Ravens' defense. Even after Baltimore added safety Alohi Gilman via trade in early October, Starks was a regular in team's secondary. He's expected to continue emerging as one of the NFL's top young safeties in 2026.

Records six tackles

Starks made six tackles (one solo) in Thursday's 32-14 loss to the Bengals. The safety has now made at least four stops in every game but two this season. He has also played on more than 90 percent of the defensive snaps in all 12 contests. For the year, Starks has 65 tackles (34 solo) and two interceptions.

Tallies four tackles

Starks recorded four tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Jets. Starks continues to hold a significant role in the Baltimore defense, though his production has dwindled since the team acquired Alohi Gilman. Starks has no more than five tackles in each of his last five games, though he does have two interceptions in that span.
