Carter was unable to practice last week before Friday's loss versus the Dolphins, but his listing Wednesday is an encouraging sign for his potential availability in Week 13. If he can upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday, he could possibly avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
Carter will miss a second consecutive game due to this injury, so Brandin Echols and Bryce Hall should continue to see added playing time at cornerback alongside Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. Carter's next chance to take the field will come against the Falcons on Dec. 3.
