Strange (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday. Per Juston Lewis of the Florida Times-Union, Strange, who also was limited Wednesday, sustained an AC joint sprain in last week's loss to the Jets. However, head coach Doug Pederson indicated that the tight end should be good to go Sunday against the Raiders after logging 11 catches for 73 yards on 12 targets versus New York this past Sunday. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Strange heads into the weekend with an injury designation or cleared for Week 16 action.
Strange was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury. According to Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times-Union, head coach Doug Pederson said that Strange sustained an AC joint sprain in last week's 32-25 loss to the Jets. Fortunately for Strange, Pederson said that Strange will be fine to play in Sunday's game at Las Vegas, but he may need to upgrade to full practice participation by Friday to avoid taking a designation into the weekend. After Evan Engram (shoulder) placed on injured reserve last week, Strange stepped in as the Jaguars' top tight end in the loss to New York and turned some heads by recording 11 catches for 73 yards on 12 targets. Strange could struggle to reach that lofty target count again in Week 16, but he should nonetheless represent one of the top options in the passing game for quarterback Mac Jones.
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Engram underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Engram was ruled out for the Jaguars' final four games of the season when he was placed on injured reserve Saturday, though it wasn't immediately known if he would get surgery to address the labrum tear. With the procedure now confirmed, Engram will likely be shut down from activity for a few weeks before beginning a rehab program. Pederson said he expects Engram to be a full participant when the Jaguars begin their offseason program in the spring, when the 30-year-old tight end will be heading into the final season of the three-year, $41.25 million extension he signed in July 2023. After turning in a career-best 114-catch, 963-yard season in 2023, Engram took a big step back statistically in 2024, but he was still a usable fantasy starter in PPR formats with a 47-365-1 receiving line on 64 targets over nine appearances.

Surgery for Lawrence's sprained non-throwing shoulder was always on the docket after the Jaguars placed him on injured reserve Dec. 4, but the quarterback waited until he cleared concussion protocol before having the procedure. Now that he's no longer dealing with concussion symptoms from the hit to head he took from the Texans' Azeez Al-Shaair in the Jaguars' Week 13 loss, Lawrence will turn his focus to rehabbing and strengthening the shoulder. Pederson said he expects Lawrence to be a full participant when the Jaguars kick off their offseason program in the spring.
Savage recorded five total tackles (four solo) and two passes defensed in Sunday's 32-25 loss to the Jets. Savage finished second on the team in takedowns, trailing only cornerback Tyson Campbell's six tackles in the loss. Savage has now produced 41 total tackles (33 solo) and six passes defensed, including an interception, over 11 games in his first season with the Jaguars.
Campbell recorded six solo tackles and a pass defensed in Sunday's 32-25 loss to the Jets. Campbell led the Jaguars in takedowns against New York, reaching at least six tackles for the third time in the last five games. On the season, the cornerback has compiled 43 total tackles (29 solo) and four passes defensed over nine games.
Reynolds failed to catch his lone target during Sunday's loss to the Jets. The 29-year-old made his debut for the Jaguars after being claimed off waivers Dec. 4, but he didn't see much action in the passing game while working as the No. 4 wideout. Reynolds' role isn't likely to change much down the stretch if Brian Thomas, Parker Washington and Devin Duvernay remain healthy.
