The 25-year-old has now racked up 4.0 sacks in just two games this season which is already more than he recorded in 16 appearances a year ago.
Dugger logged eight tackles (eight solo), with 1.0 sack, during New England's 23-20 overtime loss to Seattle on Sunday. Dugger was questionable heading into Sunday's matchup due to an ankle injury but ended up having a dominant performance for the Patriots. The 28-year-old's eight tackles were tied for most on the team, and he also managed to record his first sack of the season.
Bentley (shoulder) may be in danger of missing the rest of the season due to a torn pectoral, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Bentley left in the first half of Sunday's overtime loss to the Seahawks due to a left shoulder injury and was ruled out after halftime. Earlier Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported that the Patriots were optimistic about Bentley suiting up Thursday at the Jets, but the tide seemingly has turned since then. First, Bentley was listed as a non-participant on New England's first Week 3 injury report, which was an estimate because the team didn't practice Monday. Following Rapoport's report, Bentley now may be unavailable for the rest of the campaign. Coach Jerod Mayo and/or the Pats likely will provide clarity regarding Bentley's health in the near future.
Wise (shoulder) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate. Wise played his usual workload Sunday, so it's likely the injury isn't too severe. His status over the next two days leading into Thursday's game against the Jets should provide more clarity on the Arkansas product.
Peppers (shoulder) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate. Peppers has been dealing with a hip injury to start the season, but he's been able to play through it. The addition of a shoulder issue is new for the Michigan product. Considering he was able to play 100 percent of the team's snaps on Sunday, it's unlikely that the injury would keep him out of Thursday's game against the Jets, but his practice status over the next couple of days will likely be worth monitoring.
Jones (knee) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate. Jones played his usual workload in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks, so it's not clear if he picked up a new injury during the matchup. Either way, his status for Monday suggests the team believes he'd have needed to take it easy had they actually held a practice Monday. More insight into his chances for suiting up Thursday against the Jets will likely come Tuesday or Wednesday.
Jennings (knee) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate. Jennings was limited early in the practice week leading up to Week 2's loss to the Seahawks. However, he ultimately suited up and compiled eight total tackles in the process. Unless he aggravated the injury, he'll likely be good to go for Thursday's matchup with the Jets, but his practice status over the next couple of days will likely be worth monitoring for assurance.
